Marianna was amazing, she was beyond accommodating and her food was amazing. She made special plates for the children and adjusted her costs based on the little ones that eat barely anything. I asked her to start serving at 6:30 and it was ready and served. The kitchen was spotless when she left. I cannot wait to use her again and try other food. She helped us with our appetizers ad that was not part of the meal at all!

Chef Carvallo made our event a big success. She came very prepared with an assistant. She was great with our guests introducing the food and answering questions. Our appetizers were delicious, the avocado toast was delicious. Her soup was my personal favorite followed by salad and yummy crispy pork belly. She cleaned the entire kitchen, including the stovetop! I'm planning on using her for our next event!

One word... AMAZING!!! We had the "Wine Parings" menu that had the eggplant tarts, zucchini salad, braised lamb tagine, cous cous and Fig and salted caramel bread pudding. Every single dish was DELICIOUS! It was an excellent meal. She was very easy to coordinate with, and she left the kitchen spotless and worked so quickly. Highly recommend Chef Mariana. Cant wait to try another menu of hers or we'd even be happy to do this same menu again just cause we are still craving everything that was in it!

Mariana is first class. She was so relaxed and at home in our home and very responsive to our needs. She served our party of 12 for a 60th birthday party, and the food was excellent. The wild mushroom and caramelized leek flat bread was amazing as was the little gem salad with shaved heirloom carrots. As a third course, she served a rustic corn chowder with confit potato which everyone loved. Mariana gave a nice presentation about each dish and was very responsive to questions. She and her helper served the guests water and wine throughout the evening and they cleaned up very well. We would have Mariana back in a heartbeat!

Marianna is an excellent chef—preparing really delicious food for my super picky family. We all highly enjoyed the Mexican fiesta plus she's really nice as well which just added to the experience. She was great at accommodating all of my menu changes. She was a touch late in arriving so dinner started late which worked out well in the end but just be aware she's coming from the Santa Cruz mountains if you book something in the northern part of the Bay Area.

I needed last minute help with a dinner party at my house and Mariana made it so easy. With one or two simple conversations we were all set and I didn't have to worry about a thing. I picked a few items from her menu suggestion and it was perfect. Every course was fantastic and well presented. Each dish was delicious and super flavorful. Because it was a relatively large group to be serving dinner to, she brought a person to help out. He was also super courteous, nice and helpful. The two of them were great. They came in, found their way around the kitchen, and cleaned up before they left. I would definitely user Mariana again.

This was such an incredible find. We had an amazing night, and it's a testament to Chef Mariana that our group of 12 was pretty much evenly split on what the best part of the meal was. For me, it was the peach and burrata salad. Out of this world.Anyway, I can't recommend Chef Mariana enough. The whole process was seamless. We tailored the menu, she showed up early and did everything she said she would. Her assistant was always there to refill wine glasses and to clean up at the end.It was the first time I can remember that I hosted a party and was able to enjoy it. I would (and will) hire her again in a heartbeat.

Mariana and her sous chef were absolutely incredible! We had a group of 10 for a friend's bachelorette party (a couple of specific dietary requirements) and Mariana was accommodative of every request.The food was spectacular and perfect for the occasion (fun Mexican fiesta) and Mariana found the perfect balance of involving herself in the group's activities (we had a surprise video for the bride to be before the dinner) and being nonintrusive.We had some leftovers and Mariana had brought extra containers which was very convenient. The kitchen was left absolutely spotless upon their departure - probably cleaner than when they arrived! Would highly recommend Mariana for your next event - a very memorable experience and occasion.

Such an incredible experience. Mariana prepared a five course meal for my proposal and it couldn't have been more perfect. It was just me and my girlfriend (now fiance!). We customized the meal over the phone to suit my fiance's dietary needs. Mariana was totally flexible and a pleasure to work with, not to mention, the food was AMAZING. So delicious. She cooked the most incredible parpadelle pasta and duck over parsnip puree (with a port reduction sauce, so good!). She also created her own take on my fiance's favorite dessert, Banana Cream Pie! I can't wait to have Mariana cook at another event of mine. I haven't stopped raving about her.

We had Chef Carvallo for my husbands 60th Birthday and it was absolutely wonderful. Her and her 2 assistants were very professional and my 21 guests were all pleased with their presentation, all her food was awesome and beautiful. I hired her bartender friend as well, and a few guests said he got a few cocktails wrong, but professional. My kitchen was immaculate when they were done, so don't worry about that. I can't wait to have her again :0)
